And we also included bass cab IRs and acoustic IRs. For each patch, you can load a 3rd party IR. It means you can load 32*4=128 IRs into the MG-30. What does this mean for you? In a word, versatility. You can create your own Amp/Cab combinations that bend and break all the rules. You can load one of hundreds of available IRs into the MG-30 for use with our amps, and so much more. Effects & Block Routing
What’s your favorite pedal effect? That’s a loaded question among guitarists, as there are so many to choose from. In the MG-30, we provide 56 effects covering the greatest hits of effects, including Wah’s, OD/Dist/Fuzz, Delay, Modulation, and Reverb. These effects are included within 8 signal blocks spread across the internal signal path. These blocks can be arranged in any combination and some even include secondary features that you’ll find indispensable.
Post-EFX Parallel Routing
With the signal routing of the MG-30, you’re not limited to a straight linear line with our Parallel Routing options. Explore what’s sonically possible in the stereo environment.
Phrase Looper and Drum Machine
Whether you want to jam out at home or onstage, the MG-30 provides an onboard 60 second mono (30 second stereo) phrase looper and drum machine. The drum machine includes 11 styles and a total of 67 different patterns to choose from. Not sure of your phrase loop tempo? The drum machine will detect the tempo of your phrase loop and match accordingly.
QuickTone Editor (Mac/PC) and Audio I/O
While the hardware interface of the MG-30 is well thought out and easy to navigate, there are guitarists looking to tweak their tones even further, which is why we included the QuickTone Editor. A simple layout that allows you to deep dive into your tones while still being creative and productive. This is also where you can set up the MG-30 to be a powerful USB-C Audio Interface or Reamp Device for your favorite DAW.
