    Control Air Volume

     

    • This air volume control is designed to control the amount of air in the residential storage tank of a deep well water system, help keep the air and water volume at a balanced level while using deep well pumps. Suitable for deep wells over 25 feet (7.6 m) in depth. The control has a 1/4" gauge tap for installing pressure gauge to test the inner pressure, main body thread 1-1/4" pipe. Replacement for #F93B-1C, 24-7664-3000.

     

     

    How To Work

     

    • Generally, when the tank level drops/airflow increases, the control opens the bleed valve, releasing excess air inside the tank with up to 100 psig (690 kPa), automatically maintaining the amount of air inside the tank of the deep well water system. Also, to avoid excessive air release, the control is designed with a minimum pressure relief valve to prevent the air pressure inside the tank from falling below 25 psig (172 kPa).

     

     

    Anti-Corrosion & High Pressure Resistance

     

    • Made of premium material for durability and high performance. Hard brass internal components and connecting rod for greater corrosion resistance and rust resistance. Durable plastic housing, anti-wear, accurate size and specification, suitable for your deep well and water tank system. The red plastic float is pressure tested, long lifespan.

     

     

    Easy Installation

     

    • Use thread sealing tape to wrap the 1-1/4" NPT thread on the control, overlap the tape by half its width to form two layers, and continue to where the thread ends at the large end. Use a wrench to screw the control into the tank opening located at approximately 2/3 of the way up. Please NOTICE that the tank must be at least 9 inches (229 mm) in diameter to allow room for float operation before purchasing.
