SK Fiber has developed a graphite putter shaft as an alternative to steel shafts.  Why would you want a graphite shaft for a putter? The stiffness, stability, and heavier weight match what you would expect with a steel shaft straight, stepless putter shaft. The benefit to the heavier weight is thicker shaft walls, which are a natural vibration dampener and provide excellent feel and performance. The stealth matte black finish will be a welcome addition to any putter.

Most store stocked putters are made 35 inches, ladies putters are usually made 33 inches. I find that most users are choking up some on the store model so I think of 34 as "standard". You get to choose.
