Frank Luther's Wheatley Whale Fun Book (1950, Frank Luther Inc.) - This vintage children's book, closing in on 75-years-old, features Mr. Whale trying to do all sorts of fun activities - from being a cowboy to making cookies to drawing and more.

The collectible is in good, not perfect, condition.  The cover, which has retained ok reflectivity, and all pages, are attached.  The front cover has an approx. 1/4" crease at the top left-hand corner, the spine has about a handful of creases - the biggest approx. 1/4" near the cactus, the bottom right-hand edge and right-hand side have either been manufactured improperly or been cut (perhaps by a child having fun?); the first inside page is partially detached (about 2/3rds); page 5 (dots) has been completed in pencil; pages 8/9 have notations (musical scores?) at the top edge, the staples (primarily the bottom one) have rust migration; the crossword puzzle on page 13 has been completed; the back cover spine has several creases - the biggest approx. 1" - near Frank's chin.
