Product Description:
1.VL53LOX is a new generation of time-of-flight (TOF) laser ranging module (different from traditional technology), using the smallest package on the market, regardless of the target reflectivity, can provide accurate distance measurement. It can measure an absolute distance of 2M, setting a new benchmark for ranging performance levels and opening the door to a variety of new applications.
2. Connect the purchased module with your own microcontroller IIC pins and write your own programme with reference to the routine. Insert it into the matching MS51 development board to display the distance. At the same time, the serial port on the development board will print the distance data every second. The digital display is in centimetres and the serial output is in millimetres. The maximum measuring distance of the development board is 500mm.
3. When the distance measurement is inaccurate, the supporting development board has a calibration function. In the case of power failure, use tweezers to short SDA and GND, and then power on, the digital tube displays "Err", that is, the calibration data in the development board has been cleared. Disconnect the power supply, power on again to enter the calibration mode. Place a block at 11cm in front of the board, and disconnect the power supply when the reading on the digital tube is stable. In calibration mode, the serial data are as follows: D indicates the current measured distance, cal indicates the deviation from 107mm (107mm because the sensor protrudes 3mm from the board).
