This antique Ebonised Swagger Stick is in good honest condition showing the usual signs of cosmetic wear and tear, but no breaks or splits or repairs. The ebonising is wearing through in places, which adds to the charm giving a great depth to the patination. The mount both feels and looks like silver, and is non magnetic, but without a visible hall mark, I can't say for sure. The tip on the end of the staff is a good fit and looks right, but there is a ring about 10mm above the collar, which suggests it may have been altered or even a later replacement, it is hard to say. It is also non magnetic and lacks a hall mark. A very nice item measuring 712mm in length. Thanks for looking
