These are Military Free Fall Parachutist Jump Wings of the United States Army These wings are in mint condition and are the current no shine "stay brite" style. The brass clutches will be included. Hallmarked V21 for Vanguard, a notable US maker of quality military insignia. Also hallmarked I-21 for International Insignia Corporation, a partner company of Vanguard.
To be awarded HALO MFF wings one must have completed the Military Free Fall Course conducted by the United States Army Special Warfare School at Fort Bragg, NC and taught at Yuma Proving Grounds in Arizona.
These wings are not illustrated in the Bragg and Turner books, since they are more recent than 1985. If you are trying to collect the various makers of US Wings, this is your opportunity to pick up an excellent example.
