Our ball valve is configured for a slip connection. This valve is built with PolyVinyl Chloride (PVC) Schedule 40 and is suitable for use as an inline valve for connecting two pipes going in the same direction. Its construction material makes it resistant to corrosion and mild chemicals. It is equipped with a quarter-turn red plastic handle. This ball valve is ideal for potable water applications. Not intended to throttle the flow of water, use only in a fully opened or fully closed position. [SIZING] The Ball Valve is designed for water pipes with a ¾” nominal size. Please note that nominal size is not equal to actual diameter. The inside diameter of the valve measures 1.05in (26mm), the outside diameter of the pipe must be the same.
