Antique Christofle ROCAILLE Gilded Candelabra, two-arms

Item Details:

ONE two-arm Candelabra

Vintage condition (light surface scratches, one noticeable dent on one of the arms (see photo #5, few minor dings and minor bends to the saucers, there’re several minor rust spots and minor green spotting inside saucers).

Height: 9 inch (23 cm);

Arms Width: 9 1/4 inches (23.5 cm)

Base: 4 3/4 inches (12 cm)

Weight: approximately 2.4 lbs (approximately 1.1 kg)

100% Authentic Christofle, bears Christofle hallmarks on the bottom (CHRISTOFLE, cartouche, number “1994295” and two other unclear marks).

The item displays sheer elegance of very detailed design. It has been lightly cleaned, and can still benefit from professional cleaning to reveal even more beauty. Very high-end!

Item Description:

French Silver-maker Christofle is an enduring symbol of luxury, elegance and prestige in the art of silver.

This item belongs to ageless Christofle “Rocaille” collection, reminiscent of the modern Marly design. Rocaille (Floral) pattern is highly treasured by Christofle clientele who value the great detail and harmony. This model has recently been reproduced by Christofle in silverplate and can be special-ordered for about $2500 per candelabra.

This candelabra is numbered, therefore it belongs to early 1900’s time period when Christofle used to still number its items.

This is a rare antique find.
