Antique Torsion Balance 1937. White porcelain, there are a few stains from spills over the years.

Comes with two 50 ml measuring flasks, both of which are completely intact.  Manufactured by "The Torsion Balance Co." New York No. C46237, Style 1620 Capacity 3l240 grams. Made in the U.S.A.  This unique and unusual Balance will be shipped with its beam locks in place and stripped down for shipping. Some assembly will be required. A labeled picture is included in this listing and written instruction will be sent with the Balance.  The main body is composed of white porcelain coated cast iron so, it tips the scale at just a hair under 11 pounds.  It measures 10" wide, 5" deep and stands 5" tall. The indicator needle and elevated scale reach another 5" above the top of the main body.
