I don’t think any m1860s were imported after the war

The blade is offered as-found

it has a dark patina & light coating of surface rust

No deep pitting or nicks ,..it will clean up and look presentable

It has a 28 inch cutting edge with a 7” tang

It is an early style with the rounded elliptical shaped blade

( not the common , post war version ‘diamond shaped ‘ blade type )

This blade should clean up and look presentable again

I doubt that any of the original etching remains

A scarce imported German blade from the war between the states !
