Vintage Seashell

Description:  vintage seashell (possibly Triton or Spindle)

Size:  approximately 5" long by 2.5"  in height (approximately 130 mm)

Weight:  approximately 5 ounces

Condition:  In original condition.  See the many photos as they are part of the description.  

NOTE:  I have just acquired a large seashell collection from a collector at an estate sale. I know nothing about seashells, so I can't be sure this is the correct classification/taxonomy, so I am trying to make an educated guess based on comparison reference photos. 

The majority of the items that I sell on eBay are vintage items obtained from estate sales.  As such, the items are not perfect.  Even those items that are in great shape considering their age will usually have some minor flaws simply due to the age, general use, and shelf life.  I am not an expert in every item that I sell, but I do my best to describe my items as accurately as possible and to the best of my ability, flaws and all.
