Welcome to Celestial Nonesuch For Sale Today: An absolutely gorgeous antique flint glass specimen bottle jar (numbered ST2093) made for Louis Agassiz of the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard University. This piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, dated September 9, 1976, signed by the Curator of the Collection at the time, Karen M. Wulfsberg. This glass bottle was made by the New England Glass Company, circa 1860's through 1870's. Overall, very good condition. Stopper has some fleabites around the base. Stopper also has what appear to be straw marks running inside, although they almost appear as if they are hairlines, they are most likely from manufacturing.
