Reverse Osmosis membrane manual flush valve for RO systems equipped with a permeate pump. The flush valve bypasses the permeate pump, to prevent damage to the pump during membrane flush. Available with no flow restrictor (install your own), capillary insert flow restrictor, or inline flow restrictor. All components are premium quality virgin polypropylene. Valve assembly includes,

Two (2) 1/4" push to connect food grade polypropylene flow dividers
1/4" push to connect food grade polypropylene ball valve
Two (2) 1/4" push to connect x 1/4" stem elbows
Flow restrictor - Axeon capillary insert (18,25 36,50,75,100.150 GPD), Inline flow restrictor (36, 50, 75, 100, 150 GPD)
1/4" Mur-Lok LLDPE food grade tubing
The assembly is color coded for ease of connection.

Flush valve sizing:

18 GPD - 189 cc/min (capillary only)
25 GPD - 260 cc/min (capillary only)
36 GPD - 300 cc/min (inline); (365 cc/min capillary insert)
50 GPD - 550 cc/min (inline); (525 cc/min capillary insert)
75 GPD - 800 cc/min (inline); (730 cc/min capillary insert)
100 GPD - 1000 cc/min (inline); (1000 cc/min capillary insert)
150 GPD - 1200 cc/min (inline); (1577 cc/min (capillary insert)

To extend membrane lifetime, and improve membrane performance, flush the membrane for 30-60 seconds at least 1x per week. For aquarium systems we recommend flushing the membrane before each startup, to reduce TDS due to TDS creep.
