Armorial bookplate-sticker, lithographed.  Ex libris was printed in the second half of the 19th century by the E. Arngold in St. Petersburg. Size between frames: 2.755/2.007 inch. 7x5.1 cm. Quadrangular.

Description:  On the top is the family coat of arms of the Dukes of Mecklenburg-Strelitz with the family motto "Fuimus et Sumus" ("We were and are"). Then: "Library of Duke George Georgievich of Mecklenburg". Then: Hall, Wardrobe, Shelf, No. on P. Inscription outside the frame in the lower left corner : lithograph by E. Arngold. Handwritten inscriptions are made with black ink

Duke Georgy Georgievich 1859-1909 (Georg-Alexander-Michael-Friedrich-Wilhelm-Franz-Karl) of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, representative of the Russian branch of the Mecklenburg house, eldest son of Duke George and Grand Duchess Catherine Mikhailovna, great-grandson of Emperor Paul I.
