Gauge-Offered is a brass body Butt & Rabbet gauge marked Stanley Pat. Aug. 22, 92.  Brass trim with exotic wood head.  According to the John Walters Stanley Tools guide,  there should be two scribes, I only see one & don't know where the 2nd one should be, either missing or broken off.  Also, the adjusting knob & shaft do not engage the moveable shaft, parts are there but not connected.  One brass wear plate is missing. Any scribe adjustment would be manual.  A top of the line gauge, with issues as noted, in excellent display condition.
