Blatz Soda Bottle - Clear - 7 1/2 oz - 18

- Specifics about this item Advertising BLATZ soda or beer beverage bottle from the prohibition era (1920s - 1930s) is a 7 1/2 ounce size with detailed embossed pattern and lettering on a clear body.

- This bottle has BLATZ on the front and a graphic of beer hops inside a brewers star on the back, the edge of the base has BLATZ BREWING CO  -  CONTENTS 7 1/2 FL OZ and the base appears to be marked 151354.
- The original Blatz brewery changed names in 1927 to the Val. Blatz Brewing Co. and again in 1930 to the Blatz Brewing Co.

- Apparently at the start of the National Prohibition many breweries decided to make near beers and various sodas and placed bottle orders with several bottle manufacturers in order to get quantities of soda bottles quickly.

CONDITION  excellent  - as shown in the photos  - the embossing is bold, is clean, has very light bottling line surface wear to the raised upper section, and has no cracks or chips.
