Estate sale find:
This listing is for 3 wood framed double sided slate board.
Handheld size, 7 1/2 x 5 3/4,
I do not know when these were made and I have done a lot of research and I have not seen any others like them. These are a bit smaller than others I have seen. Also, the wood on these have been dyed red. They are very well made. I took one picture of how the wood is jointed together. Small nails were also used in making them.
