Burmese “Kun-it” round lacquerware box, crafted with the traditional sgraffito engraving technique in black and red lacquer, featuring mythical animal motifs.
The surface is richly adorned with vegetal scrolls and stylized mythological creatures, executed with fine incised lines typical of Burmese lacquer artistry.
This is an authentic item that has been used, kept in very good condition with time traces, no chips or cracks, made of a very soft and flexible material.
Original old, circa 1940-60s. Approx. 100mm diameter at widest, 80mm height.
