Carl Friedrich Rudolf Heinze was a German jurist, brother of Max Heinze.

Heinze became a professor of criminal law in 1865 at the University of Leipzig, which he represented for several periods in the first chamber of the Saxon Diet, and in 1873 in Heidelberg.

Heinze's scholarly works mainly deal with reforms in German criminal law and criminal procedure, such as Das recht der untersuchungshaft (1865), Staatsrechtliche und strafrechtliche erörterungen zu dem entwur eines strafgesetzbuches für der Norddeutschen bund (1870) and Strafprocessuale erörterungen (1875).
