The original hinges for these turntables have a design flaw where the spring is far too strong, and then the thin plastic snaps. The vast majority of these hinges have broken, and are now unobtainable in new condition.

Some original hinges are available at very high prices, but we would not entertain selling original hinges, because they are highly likely to break!

We sell many used turntables, and needed a solution to the broken hinges to repair the lids of the ones we want to sell.

3D printing to the rescue!

A simplified hinge design, now incorporating a stainless steel screw, and no springs means these hinges need a lot of effort to break.

Printed and hand finished by our own engineers, these are a fantastic solution. The cover moves smoothly, and stays in the upright position just past vertical.

Please note, due to the 3d printed and hand finished nature, these are not perfect moulded pieces, and may have small flaws or marks. Once installed they are virtually invisible.

You will receive one pair of 3d printed hinges, handed left and right, assembled with a stainless steel screw ready for installation, which is a simple slip fit following removal of the old hinges which may require pliers.
