Notes:
*Units with the factory colour LCD display (SSV, HSV, Calias, Statesman) will not show anything on the display in rear aux mode under 5kph.
They will display as normal above 5kph, this is because they are designed to also display video from a optional extra rear roof mounted DVD player.
* The power plugs into the spare connector for the front mounted CIG lighter socket (See Picture) Most AUS VE Models do not have anything plugged into this connector from factory.
Some US G8 Models have the CIG socket & This version will not allow the CIG socket to be connected without modifications, I have another version with a T-Harness style connection to retain the CIG Socket Available here
* Some Models may have the audio connector already used. (G8, SSV, HSV, Calias, Statesman)
In Testing I have not noticed any side effects from removing the connector to fit the Rear aux cable unless it has the rear DVD installed in this case you will loose audio & video input from the rear DVD to the Factory Headunit. It may also be possible to remove the pins and fit them into the existing connector if required.
* Models with factory fitted Bluetooth for phone calls will continue to work if the phone supports dual simultaneous connections (Most modern phones do)
* Please check if your unit has the Rear AUX mode in the settings menu, you must enable rear aux mode for this cable to work.
* Steering wheel volume controls will continue to work, It will not change songs via Steering controls
