🧰 Regular Decal Installation Instructions

A basic, simple method for installing vinyl decals:

  1. Unroll and Flatten: Upon receiving your decal, unroll it and lay it flat. Lightly squeegee out any wrinkles from shipping.
  2. Gather Supplies: You’ll need tape, rubbing alcohol, scissors, napkins, and a squeegee or credit card. Clean the surface thoroughly with rubbing alcohol.
  3. Position Decal: Tape the decal in place using three pieces of masking tape. Ensure it’s exactly where you want it.Peel back one side (without tape) and cut the wax paper underneath.

  1. Apply First Side: Use your squeegee or card to apply from the center outward to avoid bubbles.
  2. Remove Tape: Remove the three pieces of tape and lift the other side.
  3. Peel Second Side: Remove the wax paper backing from the remaining half.
  4. Apply Second Side: Squeegee the second side on from center outward.
  5. Remove Application Tape: Slowly peel off the top application layer at a sharp angle.
  6. Done! Enjoy your great-looking new decal!

❄️ Cold Weather Tips

  • 1️⃣ Firmly squeegee the decal before peeling to help separation from the wax paper.
  • 2️⃣ Slightly heat with a hair dryer if separating is difficult.
  • 3️⃣ Always clean glass thoroughly with rubbing alcohol only — not Windex.
  • 4️⃣ Do not apply below 50°F (10°C).
  • 5️⃣ Avoid letting snow sit on the decal for long periods; wipe gently if possible.
  • 6️⃣ If extremely cold, install indoors or in a warm area.
  • 7️⃣ Never pour hot water on a frozen decal or tamper with it while frozen.
