This is an original 1912 hardcover printing of "Skin Grafting for Surgeons and General Practitioners," a medical textbook written by Leonard Freeman and published by C. V. Mosby Company. This copy was part of a hospital library, as described below. Those who are interested in the practice of skin grafting will appreciate how this 139-page book provides a detailed look at this practice over a century ago.

Overall, the copy being offered is in fair antique condition. As you'll see in my first five photos, the covers have noticeable wear (particularly in the corners and at the top and bottom of the spine) and noticeable smudging, along with a library sticker affixed to the spine. While the pages are well-bound, both covers are loose from the binding (though still fully attached), with visible splitting, an example of which is visible in my 7th photo. Inside, the pages are crisp and largely clean but do contain a few light smudges here & there; the insides of both covers and several pages contain ink stamps and embossed stamps for a personal library and for Pittsburgh's Mercy Hospital Staff Library. Both types of stamp--and a stamp saying "indexed"--occur on the title page (see my 8th photo), and you can see such stamps in my other photos, as well. A written library notation occurs on the back of the title page (see my 9th photo), and that is the only writing I found in the book as I flipped through it; if any other writing exists, it can't be much.
