This combo Heavy Duty External Voltage Regulator By-Pass Kit with Modified Driver w/plug used on 2006 and newer Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep that have a MITSUBUSHI 115 or 140 Amp unit that does not have the black plastic cover over the back of the alternator and the plug pulls straight out the back. This kit does not fit the BOSCH type alternator with Black Plastic cover over the back or the DENSO type units.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Adjustable voltage regulator may not increase voltage at Idle speed, the adjustment is for top end output . The only way to bring idle voltage output up is to increase Idle speed , smaller pulley, or a physically larger alternator.
