This is a charming figurine of a man resting at the beach. He measures just 2.25" long. He is wearing a blue bathing suit and has a newspaper over his face. The figure is a reproduction cast in tin from a scarce Grey Iron original (circa 1930s) and is hand-painted by Leddy & Slack. He would make a nice set with the Woman in Sun Hat and our other Day at the Beach figures listed separately when available.
Leddy & Slack figures are cast tin, hand-painted, and contain no lead. All our pieces are proudly manufactured in New York State.
We have a number of reproduction figures from Barclay, Manoil, Johillco, and Grey Iron that are not always available. If you are looking for a particular piece, please feel free to inquire, and we can paint one and create a private listing for you.
We also offer restoration and repainting services at reasonable rates. If you have antique dimestore or other railroad figures in need of repair, restoration, or repainting, please feel free to contact us for details.
