The 9 x 1 3/4 sized corks are the perfect size to fit into any standard sized opening on a wine bottle if you are using a floor corker. We strongly recommend using a floor corker when trying to cork with 9 x 1 3/4 sized corks because it would be extremely difficult to get them in the bottle with a smaller hand operated corker. The black wax melts on to the neck of the bottle, covering the cork, and creating a beautiful, professional look. Emblems or other symbols can be pushed into the wax while it is still hot.
