Truman,” expressing his satisfaction that his presidential library contains biographies on Abraham Lincoln seven months before his death: “I am glad that your visit to the Library proved worth your while and I am sure they were pleased to have the book about Lincoln.”

Sent to the President of the Civil War Round Table, contains one page on personal letterhead, measures 10.5 by 7.25 inches, created in Independence, Missouri on May 29, 1972, and in pristine condition.  A wonderful association between the 16th and 33rd Presidents of the United States.
