• This is a very handy cattle prodder to have on hand when moving cattle.
• It also works well when working in close proximity with smaller animals such as goats, sheep, and alpacas. Produces a high pitch noise that is only audible to animals
• Please note that this device is NOT a stun gun. It is specifically designed for safely moving cattle without causing harm or distress. The device works by emitting a low-voltage pulse that encourages animals to move without the risk of injury, making it suitable for use with livestock.
• The device does not buzz between the tips: The device outputs a 5000V charge, which is too low to create a visible arc or buzzing sound between the tips. Typically, a voltage of 30kV is needed for an arc to jump 1cm, but our device’s 5000V output is intended to be gentle enough to be safe for livestock. The absence of a "buzz" is a result of the lower voltage, which is purposefully designed for animal safety.

• Why the device only outputs 5000V:

  Our device is designed to output 5000V because this level of voltage is sufficient to encourage movement in cattle without scaring or injuring them. Some customers have expressed concerns about higher voltages potentially causing harm to younger animals or interfering with the milking process. Therefore, this lower voltage ensures that the device is effective in guiding animals while maintaining their well-being.

  If you're looking for a high-voltage device to create a more intense or startling effect, this product may not be suitable for your needs.
