Sean Dowinton Stained Glass

I make bespoke Stained Glass panels made to Victorian design and Edwardian designs.

This is a beautiful  hand-made traditional leaded light panel made to a Victorian design.

295mm X 295mm

It has been made using the centuries old techniques used to make the finest cathedral and church stained glass. This involves cutting the glass, painting and firing the glass, leading and soldering the panel and finally sealing the panel with leaded light cement. The panel has a chain attached to enable it to be hung in a window.

The panel is made from the finest materials and features a range  of different machine rolled glasses in traditional tints and colours, and hand made, antique glass.

The  Chaffinch rondel is painted with the finest Ruesche trace paints and silver-stain and then finished with coloured enamels. Each stage involves firing the glass in a kiln. This is a skilled and time consuming process.

The panel will be sent in a custom made wooden box and sent by courier. Postage and packing is included in the price.
