Part of a store closeout we recently acquired, this unit does show some accumulated dust.  Paint is in good condition considering the age of this pieces.  No original box is included. 

We have not tested this unit or disassembled it for inspection.  As such, it is being sold AS-IS.  We will not accept returns on this unit for any reason - your purchase indicates you have acknowledged this.

With respect to the coupler operation on this car:
  •  Please see the video that shows the coupler operation. 
  • When the tab is pulled down the couplers do release, but do not "spring open" (In this video, a screwdriver is used to pull the tab down, as we do not have a decoupling track).  The coupler is released, and if the car is moved away from the car to which is was coupled, the coupler will open completely, allowing the cars to be separated.
  • When pushed in, the couplers do indeed latch, and the cars remain coupled until the tab is pulled back down.


Shipped in the USA, via US Mail or UPS Ground Saver (your choice).  

We carefully pack all train cars in a box to prevent crushing or other damage.  While this may make our s/h charges a bit higher, it does provide protection for your items, so they are not damaged in shipping.

Generally, we ship items within one business day (M-F) of receipt of payment.  Shipment times provided by Ebay are estimates only, and will vary depending upon the carrier.  Around the holidays, the carriers will certainly have longer than normal shipping times, so we ask for your understanding, as these delays are out of our control.

Many items will show signs of age or accumulated dust and dirt.  Packages may have shelf wear, including slight yellowing of window type packaging.  While we do our best to describe any major faults with items we are selling, we ask you to read the description and examine the photos carefully.  

Unless noted in the specific description, all our items are sold As-Is, with no returns for any reason. Unless noted otherwise, locomotives and other powered train cars or accessories are not tested by us for proper operation.  We recommend examination and appropriate lubrication of locomotives prior to putting them into service.  If couplers are missing, our description will state such.  It is possible that some items may have couplers that are not fully functional, or need adjustment.
