a late 19th or early 20th century, lost wax method bronze from Tibet, of
Vajradhara
seated in dhyanasana, on a lotus base,
hands crossed in front of the chest,
holding a vajra / dorje in each hand,
wearing a dhoti, sash and beaded jewelry,
hair pulled into a high chignon secured by a foliate crown,
the base is sealed (not glued!) and incised with vajra motif,
the robe is fine draped, the jewellery sits properly,
finger nails and toes are well casted,
condition: good, firm, no missing parts, smooth surface and nice patine,
height circa 21 cm / circa 8.27 inch,
width circa 15 cm / circa 5.9 inch,
weight circa 1158 gr.
