"Sweet Poison!" Guest-starring the Man-Thing. Part 8 of the Evolutionary War storyline. Story by Steve Gerber. Art by Cynthia Martin.  Peter Parker is in Miami to promote his book "Webs," and ends up getting involved in drug dealings between the Kingpin and the Slug. Meanwhile, the High Evolutionary's purifiers are probing the Florida Everglades looking for alien genetic pollutants, but instead they encounter a new mysterious superbeing called Poison. Both plot lines reach their conclusion in the Man-Thing's swamp as Spider-Man, Man-Thing, and Poison join forces to battle the drug lords and the purifiers! The Evolutionary War storyline continues in West Coast Avengers Annual 3.
