MB 15 gas nozzle has 12mm bore and 53mm long push-on
MB 25 gas nozzle has 15mm bore and 57mm long push-on
MB 36 gas nozzle has 16mm bore and 84mm long push-on
MB 501 gas nozzle has 16mm bore and 76mm long push-on
The gas nozzle
provides the shielding gas around the weld pool and also to keep the atmosphere
out which would cause porosity.
Our recommended gas
flow rate is between 12-18 litres per minute depending on the bore size of the
gas nozzle
Please note the gas also cools down the mig torch and consumables, a low gas flow causes excessive heat build up and wears consumables out.
