These rulers are made in Japan by Shinwa Measuring Tools Corporation, a premier measuring tool manufacturer. Made from the finest stainless steel available and hardened and tempered. Has a zero glare baked-on satin chrome finish which makes it easy to read and prevents corrosion. Graduations are precision photo etched and then black filled for easy readability. Conforms to Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) B 7516 Grade 1.
