If you wish to pay by cheque, please allow for clearance times. I prefer payment by Bank Transfer, but have no problem with PAYPAL should you have more confidence in that method of payment. I look forward to dealing with you. Any more info required, please email me. Thank you for your interest. IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING POSTAGE & PACKING CHARGES -
EBAY changed their policy around 12 months ago, and unfortunately they now charge commission on
Postage & Packing charges. For some time now, I have included these charges in the bid/purchase price
on most items. In order to offer a 'free' postage service, I request that customers share the risk if selecting
Standard post
For this item, the default postage service is set for Royal Mail's 'Standard Post', and stamps are sent entirely at
the buyers risk. This is suitable for items less than £20 and/or items which can easily be replaced.
If you choose this service, should your item get lost, please don't blame or claim against me.
You have the choice of a more secure service at purchase, so please stand by that.
If you are unfortunate and an item does go missing, if required, I can send you the Proof of Posting
and a Claims Form.
However if you select one of the more secure services, such as the Signed-For or Special Delivery service , then
should the item not be received after 14 days (28 days for International Mail) have elapsed, I will refund the
purchase price or replace the item.
I want you to be happy with my service, and ideally wish you to receive your item in perfect condition.
For information, items sent by standard mail, Royal Mail Compensation is limited to a maximum of £20.
Compensation for The Signed-For service is also limited to a maximum of £50 but of course a signature
is obtained. Items which are rare, listed in the SG catalogue and valued above this figure, or which
I would find difficult to replace if lost, should be sent using the Special Delivery service.
Please think carefully before placing your order and select the most secure service fit for the item you are
buying. Sometimes I insist on one of the more secure services being used, mainly for more expensive or
hard to replace items.
INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE offers no guarantees/insurance unless you buy the International Signed or
Tracked Services. Stamps will be fully insured with any tracked service.
I will always obtain a Proof of Posting for stamps sent by Standard Airmail.
In this case, if stamps are lost, it is your responsibility to claim.
Please note that these are Royal Mail charges for the secure services offered and not mine.
They have become essential because of the number of potential false claims levied against the
Royal Mail and to comply with EBAY and PAYPAL's 'Trackable Policies'.
This protects both you, as the buyer, and me the seller. THANK YOU FOR READING.
