The Haldon Group 1991 Rare Majolica Sculpted Pitcher w/ Grapes, Leaves & Vines ~ RARE
Description: Finding a vintage Haldon item in good condition is difficult enough. Obtaining one in MINT, and apparent UNUSED condition is rare indeed. This pattern was also released as a teapot, and perhaps others. The design's simplicity is, in fact, it's strength. Bold, bright colors against a classic white background makes for a memorable piece.
Condition: There is a small glazing flaw as seen in image 7. That said, there are NO
chips, crazing, cracks, scratches, scuffs, stains, water / mineral
marks, discoloration, repairs or any other
cosmetic / structural issues. The pastel colors remain as clear and concise as originally painted.
Overall, the piece is amazing considering it's 29 years old. Actually, there's no
indication it was ever used! Even
the rough exposed porcelain kiln foot that normally shows some
scuffing and/or discoloration remains clean. The black bottomstamp is crisp, legible and certifies "the haldon group [Logo] ® ~ ©1991".
