ROYAL SHAKESPEARE CENTRE STRATFORD-UPON-AVON NEW 2021 VALUES THESE STAMPS WERE OBTAINED ON VARIOUS DATES FROM THE 12TH APRIL 2021 COLLECTOR STRIPS , FIRST CLASS & FULL SETS SYMBOLIC FLOWER & MACHIN (MA13) SETS Machine A009 was initially installed at the Royal Shakespeare Centre on the 1st November 2016. Since then there have been a number of overprints and various stamp designs. The stamp machine has been out of use since the start of the recent epidemic due to safety concerns. It was switched back on, on the 17th September but once again turned off not many weeks later as the country went back into another lockdown. The shop reopened on the 12th April 2021, and these were obtained on or after that date These
stamps were obtained from the NEW GENERATION B SERIES Machine A009 situated in the Gift shop at
the ROYAL SHAKESPEARE CENTRE in Stratford upon Avon on or after the12th April 2021. T The OVERPRINT on the SYMBOLIC FLOWER & MACHIN stamps is 'Shakespeare Birthplace Trust' (inverted) These stamps were obtained from the A009 Machine. The SYMBOLIC FLOWER STAMPS ARE DATED MA17 IN THE SECURITY BACKGROUND. The MACHIN STAMPS ARE DATED MA13 IN THE SECURITY BACKGROUND. Serial Number : B4GB21 A009..... For those who don't know what this string of numbers mean, the B stands for the new B series of machines, the 4 is the month the stamp was issued (April), the GB is self explanatory as is the year 2021 ! This is machine A009 and the next two are session and number of transactions in that session If you order the Collector Strip, you will receive a strip of 6 stamps each having one of the following values : 1st Class up to 100g 1st LARGE up to 100g Euro 100g World 20g Worldwide up to 100g Europe Large 100g World Large 100g The Symbolic Flower strips were purchased on the 1st DAY (12th April) but the machins were either bought 13th April or 22nd April. Retail Value (as at 8th May 2021) : £13.84 for the Collector Strip. If you order the Full Set , you will receive 36 stamps each full strip having six of one of the following values : 1st Class up to 100g 1st LARGE up to 100g Euro 20g World 10g Euro 100g World 20g World 100g Zone 1 & 3 World 100g Zone 2 I only have the one Full Set for the Symbolic Flower option - This was obtained on the 1st DAY (12th April) Retail Value (as at 8th May 2021) : £81.24 for the Full set. If you order the Euro 100g / World 20g Strip, you will receive a strip of 6, each one having the same value : Euro 100g / World 20g Note that these strips were purchased on the 22nd April 2021 Retail Value (as at 8th May 2021) : £10.20 If you order a 1st Class Strip, you will receive a strip of 6, each one having the same value : 1st Class up to 100g These strips were obtained on the 22nd April 2021 Retail Value (as at 8th May 2021) : £5.10 PLEASE NOTE THE SERIAL NUMBERS WILL DIFFER TO THOSE IN THE PHOTO !
