The abrasive is Aluminum Oxide, the hardness structure is Medium-Hard, it is a dense/med-dense stone, it has a vitrified bond and wax treatment. This stone is typically used for roughing in hardened steels and pre- and post-chrome.
This stone would be expected to produce a finish of about 35-40 micron, and between a N5 and N6 ISO 1302 Roughness Grade and a 2-3 micron stock removal. This is a nice sized stone with a good hardness, bond and treatment for a lot of different applications. See below and our pictures for additional technical information.

From the manufacturer:
Aluminum oxide is made by refining bauxite ores. The degree of refinement is reflected in the color and toughness of the grain. Darmann uses two types of high purity aluminum oxide grains. Sintered white aluminum oxide (WA) is the purest and most friable form of aluminum oxide. Fused white aluminum oxide (FA) is also a highly pure grain, with a more angular shape. It is typically used for “roughing” operations.
