Issue of the famous New York underground newspaper with a man in a garter belt on the cover. Contents: UFOs, an interview with The Who with Roger Daltrey and Peter Townshend, news from the New York underground scene, all beautifully laid out. East Village Other was an American bi-monthly founded in 1965. It was the quintessential underground newspaper and had a considerable influence on the other counter-cultural newspapers that came into being. The EVO ceased to appear in 1972.
