Hi!! Welcome friends!! This auction is for a beautiful hand embroidered tablecloth from Germany. This is one of my favorite tablecloths of all time. I love when a tablecloth tells a story, and oh what a story this tablecloth tells. The tablecloth features 4 different scenes. The first scene features a little bunny pulling a cart of Easter eggs in a variety of colors. But as he is transporting his delivery, he comes across a bug. This is not an ordinary bug. He has a cane and is very dapper. Another one of the adorable designs features a bunny giving a tutorial to another bunny on how to properly paint an Easter egg while little ducks watch. Next, you are going to find a scene featuring large mushrooms and a snail. The blue flowers bring the beauty of spring to the design. And last, but definitely not least, you will find a scene with a momma duck followed by her duckling, as well as a pair of bunnies. This tablecloth will leave you ooohing and ahhing all Easter long. These designs are created with a beautiful cross stitch embroidery technique. The stitches are meticulous. I love the selection of colors. The colors are bright and vibrant and just bring happiness to the forefront. Just to give you an idea of the size of the designs, let me give me you the measurements of the scene featuring the ducks. This scene is 11" wide by 2 3/4" high. This is a substantial size.  I am not a fan of pieces with teeny tiny designs. I say the bigger the better. At least, in terms of handwork. I even like the details. Note the lovely weave in the fabric that can be found in the corners, on the sides, and in the center of the tablecloth. I even like the accents of the pink flowers. This white tablecloth measures 30 1/4" by 27". The opening in the center of the tablecloth, inside the woven border, measures 7 1'/4" by 6 3/4". Why would I offer those measurements,  you ask? Because if you are like me, you might want to display a centerpiece or floral arrangement in the middle of the tablecloth. This tablecloth is just one delight after another. It is in excellent condition. If you are looking to provide smiles this Easter, look no further. This tablecloth is the solution. Smiles will be all around when those you love see this cutie of a tablecloth. 

I love this style of tablecloth. These "toppers" are actually a nice German tradition. In Germany, they put a plain colored tablecloth on the table. Then they place these "toppers" catacorner in the center of the table. Then when they go to eat, they remove the topper so it will not become dirty or soiled. I love the tradition. It just seems to have charm. Why not start this charming tradition in your home for the upcoming holiday season?
