COLLECTOR & LOCAL STRIPS FOR THE

GUERNSEY AIRPLANES ISSUE

Guernsey Post launched a new Post & Go design at Envoy House in Guernsey on the 17th February 2020,

featuring some of the Airplanes that operate in the Bailiwick.

These stamps are carried on a clear transparent backing which show the stamps and their vivid colours off to their best advantage.

The GUERNSEY AIRPLANE sets have the

Envoy House

overprint on the stamps.

ALL THE STRIPS OBTAINED WERE FIRST DAY.

Serial Number : B2GG21 GG02-1711-001

For those who don't know what this string of numbers mean, the B stands for the new B series of machines, the
2 is the month(February) the stamp was issued, the GG is self explanatory as is the year 2021 !
This is machine GG02 and the next two are session and number of transactions in that session

For the Guernsey Airplanes Collector Strip

You will receive a strip of 6 stamps with one of each of the following value :

GY Letter up to 100g

GY Large up to 100g

UK Letter up to 100g

UK Large up to 100g

EUR Letter up to 20g

ROW Letter up to 20g

Retail Value (as at 11th March 2021) : £4.70 plus VAT £0.95 for the Collector Strip

For the Guernsey Airplanes GY Local Strip

You will receive a strip of 6 stamps with six of the following value :

GY Letter up to 100g

Retail Value (as at 11th March 2021) : £3.00 plus VAT £0.60 for the Local Letter Strip

PLEASE NOTE THE SERIAL NUMBERS WILL DIFFER TO THOSE IN THE PHOTO !

A RECEIPT WILL BE SUPPLIED FOR EVERY STRIP, CONFIRMING THE VENUE AND THE

DATE OF ISSUE

Stamps have no 'use by' date

If you wish to pay by cheque, please allow for clearance times. I prefer payment by Bank Transfer, but have no problem with

IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING POSTAGE & PACKING CHARGES

Due to changes by EBAY, and their policy to now charge commission on Postage & Packing Charges,

I am revising how I deal with these. In future I intend to include these charges in the bid/purchase price.

For these items however POSTAGE & PACKING NOT INCLUDED.

For information, items sent by normal mail, Royal Mail Compensation is limited to a maximum of £20.

Items which are rare, listed in the SG catalogue over this figure, or which I would find difficult to replace

if lost, will be sent using either the Signed For or the Special Delivery service.

Please note that these are Royal Mail charges for the secure services offered and not mine.

They have become essential because of the number of potential false claims levied against the

Royal Mail and to comply with EBAY and PAYPAL's 'Trackable Policies'.

This protects both you, as the buyer, and me the seller.

Due to EBAY changing its P & P policy, it now charges commission on postage,
irrespective of any invoice issued for multiple purchases.

With many of the items I list, margins are small, so should you purchase multiple items,
I will review each case individually. I DO NOT PROFIT FROM POSTAGE & PACKING
