In this issue, Marvel's First Family, the Fantastic Four, and sci-fi heroes, the Challengers of the Unknown, are merged to create the Challengers of the Fantastic. The Challengers must gather their courage as an ominous warning from Uatu the Guardian (Watcher/Guardians of the Universe) foretells the coming of Galactiac (Galactus/Brainiac).
