These injectors use a multi hole 's' type nozzle and should be replaced every 200,000 miles.
Common symptoms are poor mileage and performance usually accompanied by knocking, rough running,  excessive smoke under load and excessive smoke and rough idle on an overnight start due to nozzles leaking fuel.
