This high performance synthetic slate tile is a beautiful looking, modern day version of a traditional slate tile. It has all the characteristics you can expect from a traditional slate such as authentic surfaces, riven edges and in the tradition slate colour. Unlike natural slate however, LiteSlate will not crack, break, chip or delaminate through its ground-breaking design and cutting-edge manufacturing process.

As the name suggest, LiteSlate is very easy to fix making it a perfect choice for any DIY project and stress free for any tradesman looking to fit the LiteSlate for the first time as a traditional slate alternative. The slate comes with visible fixing locations, pre-installed spacers and easy to follow lapping instructions. LiteSlate is also easy to cut, you only require a sharp fine tooth saw or a sharp blade, which means you don’t have to worry about hiring or buying any slate cutters or tools.

Once installed the LiteSlate synthetic slate is virtually maintenance free and has a life expectancy of 40 years, meaning no more time spent maintaining your roof for the next 40 years.

LiteSlate has superb low pitch qualities and can be installed as low as 14 degrees. You can now achieve a quality, traditional slate appearance even if you have a low pitch roof. As well as being an excellent tile choice for low pitch roofs, LiteSlate is also lightweight. Each synthetic slate weighs as little as 700g which is only 15.4kgm2. This is 60% lighter than traditional material which is perfect for projects such as conservatory roofs where weight is an extremely important factor.
