Shoei X -8 Ralf Waldmann 🇩🇪 (L) rare

Attention collectors: Up for grabs is a a Ralf Waldmann Shoei-X8 in really good condition for its age. Like all my trade ins it has been compounded and buff waxed to bring back its luster and it looks great !! No major issues with the paint and has been compound buffed and waxed.

Paint has one noticeable scratch on the very top of the few dings on the back consistent with being dropped on the ground. One of the base plate plastic screws is missing pictured but the mechanism works perfectly.

Like all shoei's of the era the top inside liner will need to be replaced it has deterioreted however the fabric cover is in tact.

Ralf Waldmann German born former 250 title challenger and racing legend / 14-time Grand Prix winner Ralf Waldmann who passed away recently in 2018 was a racing legend in his own right.

Racing in the 80cc World Championship first, in 1987, Waldmann moved to 125s in 1990 and finished in the top four of the title standings three times in four years.

His next move, into the 250 World Championship in 1994, saw the German stand on the rostrum for the first time, and that year he also took his first win to end the year in fifth.

1995 gathered more momentum and he took three more wins to finish third overall, before 1996 dawned two seasons of fighting right at the top.
