RATTLESTOP Clubhead Tacking Adhesive is a sticky compound used to coat the inside of a head, trapping particles and eliminating rattles. Used in small amounts, will not affect swing weight. To use, remove shaft, drill a 1/8" hole in the hosel and squeeze a small amount into the hole. In seconds, particles are trapped. Seal the hole before replacing the shaft, or use the weight screw hole in heads so equipped.
The product solidifies but stays tacky in the airless interior of the hollow metal clubhead. (it may solidify with the air in the bottle, 6 seconds in the microwave will restore it) Stray metal shavings or hardened epoxy fragments will be trapped and no longer make the annoying noise.
