Biography
Flora Thomas McCaig was born in Royalton, NY on Sept. 7, 1856. McCaig studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. She was a resident of Beverly, WV and Buffalo, NY at the turn of the century. Moving from Chicago to California about 1919, she settled in Pasadena and lived there until her death in Flintridge on March 28, 1933. Her painting subjects include cattle, sheep, and portraits.
