Artist Biography:  Steve Leal (b. 1962). Leal has become well-known for his stylized deco-style images of idealized men and women. His style is often compared to the works of Patrick Nagel but experts all agree that Leal's sense of style is all his own. Primarily self-taught, Leal's work was published by Edward Weston Graphics in the early 1980s and was later commissioned by Dick Clark Productions to produce images of performers for the American Music Awards. He has participated in numerous one-person exhibitions during his career.
