This listing is for a high performance aftermarket air filter suitable for the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 / GT. 

This has been designed with filtration and performance in mind. Using 4 layers of quality cotton filtration media contained within an epoxy coated mesh, polyurethane moulded ends and finally oil coated. 

These filters are washable and re-usable as with other aftermarket cotton filters, not only a performance improvement but also a long term cost saving and a green alternative to reduce landfill.

This filter has been designed to maximise the inlet area into the filter and the surface area of the filter. 

We'd suggest also using our single piece Aluminium CNC machined radius mouth inlet in conjunction with this air filter. With the two items used together this completes stage one of our performance kit (additionally stages coming soon). The radius mouth helps create a laminar air flow in the filter and increasing the flow cross sectional area which is not possible with sharp edges and small radii. Thus Allowing the performance of the filter to be realised. 

Using the air filter and CNC inlet sees a noticeable improvement in audible noise, throttle response and rear wheel torque and power (without the need for mapping). See the attached graph showing significant percentage increase (around 8 percent) in rear wheel torque in the generally used operating rpm range of the bike with standard ecu and no other power modifications on a 2019 bike with around 500 miles on the clock on a dynojet rolling road dyno. However we will be offering an engine tune for the stage 1 kit which will bring further improvements (more to come later on this).
